United Vol 4: A Black History Month Boogie

The Groove Temple proudly presents “UNITED: A Black History Month Boogie” at The Sahara Lounge Friday, February 8, 2019. This annual event, in its 4th year, is like NO other in all of Central Texas. In the last decade, no event has ever celebrated Black history, Black diversity and Black unity while entirely curated & produced by women of the African Diaspora. Moonlight Tower #2 Run

Austin 10K’r invites you to join us for a unique variety of fun running routes that will compliment your Cap10K training. The Moonlight Tower 2 Run is a creative 3 to 5-mile route that travels south into Austin’s South Congress (SoCo) District to seek out one of only 17 remaining light towers. This is your chance to window shop or explore the strip before hipsters and locals roll out of bed. Don’t forget to snap a selfie by the ‘Greetings from Austin’ postcard wall mural along the route. Enjoy mini Moon Pies, Ruta Maya Coffee and other snacks when you finish. The Moonlight Tower #2 Run will start and finish at the Austin American-Statesman.
